Fenland Running Club enjoys parkruns, Eye 10k event and Skegness Sprint Triathlon at Richmond Holiday Park
The Fenland Running Club team enjoyed another action-packed weekend at a variety of events.
At the 491st King's Lynn parkrun, Tom Richard led the team home in a great time of 22:30.
He was followed by Trevor Sutherill (28:03), while Sarah Gauvin and Jac Richards supported each other around the course to finish in 28:22 and 28:23 respectively.
Ian 'Legend' Milburn also completed the course in 29:08.
Phillip Clarke and Rachael Nichols were marshalling, whilst Jane Greenwood was the tail walker.
Meanwhile, over at Sandringham's parkrun, Sally King represented the club and finished in 38:19.
Elsewhere, members took part at the Eye 10k semi-rural road race.
This is a dream course to achieve a personal best, and Andrew Plume did just that as he raced home in 35:39 for a 10th-placed finish.
Also among the 337 finishers were Rimvydas Murduras (36:53, 13th), Richard Agger (41:52, 48th), Tom Richards (43:36, 67th), Andrew Baldwin (44:14, 71st), Pete Lunt (45:21, 82nd), Ade Mills (50:16, 129th), Nigel Marlow (50:43, 134th), Hayley Missin (51:55, 152nd), Stuart Cheslett (52:00, 155th), Melissa Milham (52:04, 156th), Jac Richards (53:34, 179th), Rachael Nichols (57:12, 216th) and Ian King (59:28, 247th).
Sarah Rippon was also in action at the Skegness Sprint Triathlon at Richmond Holiday Park.
She took part in a 400m pool swim, 18km bike ride and 5km run around the Evo Centre, and said she was 'well chuffed' with her efforts.
Sarah finished in a brilliant time of 1:28:31, earning her a 16th-place finisg in her age category.
