Fenland Runners at King's Lynn, Oundle and Huntingdon

Fenland Running Club members enjoyed a fabulous spring morning at the 5K King’s Lynn Parkrun on Saturday.

Results: Nigel Seale 20:24 (only seconds off his sub 20 PB), Hayley Missin 24:00, Heidi Smith 27:32, Rachel Nichols 28:09 and Ian Milburn (first return to the parkrun) 36:36 alongside co-pilot Jane Greenwood in 36:37.

lThe fifth Oundle 20 Road Race was hosted on Sunday and Fenland had two of their finest endurance athletes participating in Carol Bowett and Steve Bennington, who are both training for the Manchester Marathon April 3. Steve’s time was 2:46:24 (position 104) and Carol 2:48:38 (113th, PB of three minutes).

The sixth and final Frostbite Friendly League race took place in Huntingdon. Results: Tom Richards 36:44, Andrew Baldwin 37:16, John Chapman 37:47, Tim Chapman 38:09, Ade Mills 41:00, Nigel Marlow 42:17, Hayley Missin 43:28, Ian King 46:44, Jac Richards 46:59, Sarah Gauvin 47:45, Sarah Rippon 55:21 and 6 min PB.
