Three Counties Running Club members ran at the Wymondham 20-miler and The Great North Run




A pair of Three Counties Running Club members ran personal best times at the Wymondham 20-mile event.

Richard Stapleton and Amy Baxter headed to the Norfolk market town for the race, which consists of two laps around an undulating course.

Richard crossed the line in a time of 2:52:40, while Amy also broke the three-hour mark with 2:59:38.

Elsewhere, Aaron Petts took part in the largest half marathon event in the world - with a whopping 57,000 entrants taking part.

The Great North Run, which was celebrating its 40th anniversary, starts in Newcastle upon Tyne and finishes in South Shields.

On a warm day, Aaron finished in a time of 2:00:26.

Louise Cooper and her daughter Lily took part in their first official race since they participated in their TCRC beginners course.

At the 5km Race for Life event, they both worked wonders as they raised money for cancer charities.

TCRC members also impressed at six different parkrun events, including King's Lynn and March.
