The Fenmen followed up an impressive home victory against Soham with a disappointing defeat against the Cuckoos on Saturday.
Goals from former Wisbech player Matt Sparrow, Harmeed Ishola and Dan Cotton saw Yaxley comfortable winners.
The visitors had plenty of possession but only really created chances once they were three down and the home side had taken their foot off the gas.
Spencer Tinkler went close for Yaxley as early as the third minute when his header hit a post. Yaxley took the lead through Sparrow after 30 minutes when he got on the end of a cross from another former Fenman, Flo Tsaguim.
It was 2-0 seconds before the break when Ishola poked an effort past the on-rushing Luke Pearson.
Wisbech’s Player of the Month for December Sam Bennett had a good effort well saved with the last kick of the half. The third goal came just three minutes into the second half when Tsaguim set up Dan Cotton from close range.
Wisbech went close when a Dylan Edge shot was well saved and nearly scored straight from a Liam Marshall corner, which the home keeper just managed to tip over.
