Anna’s Hope is the 5k race which raises money for a fantastic charity. Anna Hughes was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2005 and sadly died aged just three.

Her parents up this charity to continue to bring a little hope and magic to other children and young people whose lives are affected by brain tumours.

The race was delayed by 30 minutes due to an incident on the course which didn’t help the runners who were getting cold waiting to start.

Rachael Elliot had a fantastic run to get a sub-30minute PB in a time of 29min38sec, finishing 218th in a field of 713.
