Three Counties Running Club and March Athletic Club were in the thick of the action over the weekend.

TCRC members Matthew Knott, Kersten Muller, Jonny Clark, Johnny Beesley, Daniel High, Vicki Newton, Lauren Day, Matt Hunter, Sarah Melton-Whitelam, Matt Mattless, Debbie Agger, Steve Whitelam, Cheryl Lenton, Tony Lamb, Sarah Lamb and Jodie Clark took part at Ryston Runners AC's Open Cross-Country Grand Prix Series.

Elsewhere, 35 seniors and 11 juniors turned out for March AC at round two of the 2021/22 Frostbite League.

New member Andrew Jakeman stormed to a sixth-place finish, while Liam Lambert and Toni Alcaraz also impressed.

Archie Bullman was the fastest junior, closely followed by Archie McLure.

Andy Cole also ran at the Bonfire Burn 10k event.
