March Athletic Club Whitemoor 5-miler won by local runner Jevan Robertson back from Newcastle Uni and third lady was Jay Gilbert of Fenland RC




On Sunday, 180 runners competed in warm weather in the annual Whitemoor 5-miler hosted by March Athletic Club.

First home was local runner Jevan Robertson, currently studying at Newcastle University and running for Tyne Bridge Harriers, in 27:59.

In second place was Brian Corleys, of Bushfield Joggers, in 28:54 and close behind in third was Simon Mead, of Ramsey Road Runners, in 28:26.

First lady home was Olivia Mead, of Hunts AC, in 36:06, second was Kelly Maddy, of Thorney Running Club, in 37:56, while in third place in a time of 38:16 was Jay Gilbert, from Fenland Running Club.

First junior home in the fun run was March AC’s Louis Beningfield in 8:04. The first girl home was Nicola Williamson, of Ramsey Road Runners in 10:33.
