Lewis Saunders leads Fenland RC runners for Sublime 10K at Long Sutton
From a field of 500 runners, Fenland RC produced a formidable team of eleven runners for the Sublime 10K at Long Sutton.
Two men were placed in the top thirty, with Lewis Saunders leading them home in 37-10 (18th).
Sean Connolly was hot on his heels in 38-36 (26th).
The ladies performed well, too, with Jac Richards recording a personal best by the fine margin of 4 seconds with 52-15 and leading the ladies home.
Veteran Phil England returned to racing and Sarah Rippon nearly dipped under the hour mark as part of her preparation for duathlons.

Meanwhile, with near-perfect weather conditions, Fenland members took part in the St Neots half marathon.
The course is an undulating course with a final downhill stretch.
First home was Gilly Anderson in a time of 2:28:58 closely followed by Lucy Hicks in a time of 2:29:24.
