Three Counties Running Club members tackled parkruns in Japan and New Zealand.
Steve and Sandra Rhodes took part in three parkruns whilst on holiday in Japan, bagging age category places in all three.
The first event was Futakotamagawa (Tokyo) with Steve winning his age group in a time of 23:01 and Sandra in 33:33.
Next was Yodogawa Kasenkoen Hirakata (Osaka). Steve claimed second in age in a time of 22:39 and Sandra finished in 31:04 claiming third female overall and first in age.
The last parkrun was Kashiwanoha (Chiba) with Steve finishing in 22:57 and 2nd in age and Sandra in 30:56 the winning female overall.
Whilst Lee and Sarah Johnson were relaxing in New Zealand they took part in the Greytown Woodside Trail Parkrun which is an out and back run along trail paths. Lee finished 2nd overall in a great time of 20:12 and Sarah 2nd female overall in 26:01.
Sunday saw some fantastic results in the Junior Parkrun, Milton Keynes half and a fantastic club turnout at Shouldham XC series.
There was a battle of the sexes for 1st place at junior parkrun, Wisbech. Maisie Macdonald and Samuel Quail were neck and neck for the entire race but 200m from the finish Maisie made a run for it to win in 8:43 just ahead of Samuel in 8:48.
Next to finish for TCRC in the 24-runner field was Isaac Western in 10:10, Keira Fines 10:12, Alex Quail 12:03PB, Stephanie Harbord 14:06 and Ella Lines 18:25.
Richard Stapleton was the lone TCRC member running in The Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon. The race that starts and finishes at Willen Lakes is a traffic free hilly run around Milton Keynes running part of it along The Grand Union Canal.
Richard had a fantastic run finishing in a time of 1:47:36.
King's Lynn Junior Parkrun saw Oliver Knott run a fantastic run finishing in 12:09.
