Fenland Running Club member Sarah Rippon takes on Blenheim Palace Triathlon, with others at parkruns
Running was mixed with cycling and swimming when a Fenland Running Club member took on a triathlon at the weekend.
Sarah Rippon was in action at the Blenheim Palace Triathlon on Saturday, which is one of the most spectacular in Europe.
It is set against the backdrop of the World Heritage Site, and Sarah put in a performance to match.
She completed her 750m swim, 18km cycle and 5.5km run in an outstanding time of two hours and 23 minutes.
Elsewhere, other members of the club were in action at various parkruns on Saturday.
At King's Lynn, Trevor Sutherill led the team home in 26.45.
Sarah Gauvin (28:20), Rachael Nichols (28:29), Ian Milburn (28:43), Roger Williams (31:21), Lucy Hicks (31:41) and Jane Greenwood (31:53) were also participating.
Over at Sandringham, Nigel Searle stormed home in 21.18 at the 34th rendition of that race.
That was good enough to see him finish 17th out of 202 runners, while Tom and Jacs Richards finished in 22.12 and 28.09 respectively.
