But in division two there was a great debut for the newly-formed Wisbech Town Reserves, who recorded a 5-3 victory at Hampton. In the same division, Parson Drove Reserves lost 3-2 at home to Wittering Premiair Reserves and Long Sutton Reserves were thrashed 5-0 while hosting Deeping Rangers Reserves.

The defeats went on in division three, where Leverington Sports Reserves had a nightmare, defeated 10-2 at home to Dreams, while Tydd Reserves were at the wrong end of an 8-2 scoreline against vistors Wittering Premiair 'A'.

In division four Long Sutton A recorded an impressive 2-0 win at Netherton United A, and in division five, Sutton Bridge got their season off to a great start with a 4-1 home win against Oundle Town Reserves, Joseph Sutton netting a hat-trick and Kurt Scott also on target.
