Top-of-the-table Walpole keep up 100% record as most games beaten by weather

After five weeks without football due to the second coronavirus lockdown, Friday's snow and rain meant that few games survived the weather today.

With Lincolnshire being placed in tier 3, there were not the normal amount of fixtures planned anyway in the Peterborough League, and none involving clubs from Fenland.

In the Cambridgeshire County League, a full programme was decimated, with only four games involving local sides being played.

In Kershaw 1B, top-of-the-table AFC Walpole made it six wins from six this season with a 2-0 victory at bottom of the table Gamlingay United Reserves. In a very tight game, Robbie Knight slid home the opener after a Joe Reed header into his path, and Knight made the points safe with a fine individual effort.

In Kershaw 2B, Wimblington took the derby bragging rights and leapfrogged home side Guyhirn with a 7-3 victory.

March Academy went down 3-0 at Needingworth United in Kershaw 3C, and in 4C, Manea United Reserves went down 3-0 at league leaders Hartford Rangers, while Guyhirn Reserves were beaten 6-3 at Hemingfords United A.
