March Athletic Club in Frostbite League action at Hunts AC
March Athletic Club travelled to Hunts AC for the Frostbite League's third winter race.
Hinchingbrooke Country Park played host to the event, which was made up of a muddy and slippery five-mile woodland park trail.
March had 31 seniors and 11 juniors take part, with the latter group taking on a 1.5-mile track. They had a great day and finished in seventh place.
This kept the youngsters in 10th spot in the league.
First home was Luke Cumbridge, with his time of 9:42 seeing him across the line in eighth spot overall.
Sacha Bland was once again March's fastest girl in 13:54.
Andy Cole was quickest for the seniors, finishing his race in 32:47 for a very respectable 35th place.
Kanina O'Neil was the quickest lady for March after crossing the line 34:55.
The senior pair were taking part in the race fresh off the back of being honoured at the club's annual awards.
Cole was winner of March's challenges league, while O'Neil won the most-improved female award.
After the Frostbite race had concluded, March had secured a ninth-spot finish to move up to 10th in the overall standings.
Elsewhere, Mike Blackledge travelled a little further afield to take part in the Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon.
He put in an excellent effort and crossed the line in 1:51:23.
