Shaw claims March Marlins club record
March Marlins were invited to the JKH Drainage gala on Saturday at Mildenhall.
It was another great night for the younger swimmers with 21 personal bests, a club record, eight firsts, 12 second places and 11 thirds.
There were PBs for Nat Cook, Saula Majauskis, Gabriel Gritsenko, Jessica Shaw, who also claimed the club record, Tilly Carter-Kitchingman, Jack Dawson, Hayden Courten, Charlotte Shaw, Rosetta Schauenburg-Kent, Daniel Bradshaw, Jeremy Courten, Ashleigh Mason, Millie Pearce, Molly McGowen, Tomas Pranauskas and Lydia Gray.
Other swimmers who competed were Lucie Cross, Aiden Gray, Rokas Borusas, Liam Cole, Ciara Mason, Aimee Cross.
Final results: Mildenhall 124 pts, First Strokes 113pts, March and Newmarket both 102pts.
l Five Marlins went to King’s Lynn on Sunday for the West Norfolk Open Meet. Between them there were six club records, 15 PBs, three golds, two silvers, one bronze and seven in the top six.
