Freeman takes £1,500 Buttonhole Lake prize

Buttonhole Lake saw its two-day final take place with Steve Freeman walking away with £1,500 pounds.

Steve had the perfect weekend, taking a point each day for the win. On day one, he weighed in 152lbs 11oz from peg 11 and on day two he got 86lbs off peg 12.

Second place was Andy Adams, who caught more than 122lbson day one off peg 19. He received £725.

Andy won his section on day two and had equal points to Steve Freeman, losing out on a weight countback.

Third place, also on two points, was Martyn Freeman who will feel happy with his £425 prize money. The 20 anglers were paid out from first place to 20th place which is unusual in match fishing.
