Callum Gill makes BriSCA F1stock car debut at King's Lynn

Fans had a surprise hours before racing began at King’s Lynn on Saturday with the news that Walsoken Banger Superstar Callum Gill would be making his debut in the BriSCA F1 event.

He will have been very pleased with his debut which saw him finish in a fantastic sixth place in his heat before coming home in tenth place in the meeting final, also posting the fifth fastest lap of the day.

James Licquorice was in great form for the Dover Boys in the Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds, where he put in a great performance with some cracking hits - including a big one on Jack Overy.

Licquorice helped to guide his team to third place in the team standings. Steve Parrish also put in a solid showing for the Predators, while Dan Clarke and the Bad Boys were also in the thick of the action all night.

However, Licquorice took a heavy accidental hit in Sunday's 2L Bangers - ruling him out for the rest of the day and giving Bryson Walker the chance to compete in his car in the Destruction Derby where he dished out a solid shot to Max Stott.

Stott was in the middle of the action all day and took home an entertainer award for his troubles.

A new superstar grading for Brad Bartram failed to slow him down as he took a good win in the 2L Banger Final.

Bartram was also in action in the Micro Bangers, where he had sixth and seventh place finishes. Jack Licquorice was in great form in the Micro Bangers with a superb runner-up finish in the final.

Danielle Ellis had the best results in the Lady Bangers with a top four finish in every race, including a runner-up finish in the first heat.

Jodie Grief crashed out whilst battling for second place in the first heat, and failed to score any results after that. Carly Geeves raced a superb Humber.

Levi Murkin had the best night of local drivers in the Junior Bangers with fifth place finishes in the consolation and final before a great runner-up finish in the All Comers.

Jade Ellis qualified for the final with an eighth place finish, as did Rhys Parrin with a third place.
