Theo Liversedge bags six personal bests and five March Marlins Swimming Club wins at Cambs County Development Meet

Another busy and successful weekend for the March Marlins Swimming Club came at the Cambs County Development Meet.

A mammoth 51 personal best times were reached and a fantastic 30 first place positions claimed.

Theo Liversedge gained six personal best times, five of which were twinned with a first place result, plus he grabbed a silver in the 100m butterfly with a best time to boot.

Harry Rayner and Molly McGowen both claimed four first place spots in four of their races, with Rayner bringing home best times in all his events.

McGowen and Rayner both came first in their respective 100m backstroke races.

Luis Souto Hill achieved three golds, two silvers and two bronze in his events alongside six personal best times.

Both Thea Hanley and Connor Rickard took the gold in their 400m freestyle races with Thea taking 30 seconds off her best time.

Henry Gooch and Jack Stapleton came first in their backstroke races with Jack repeating his success in the 200m freestyle alongside Una Ansone and Mille Walker. Ansone took first in the 400m IM with Kiera Simpson doing the same in the 200m equivalent.

Jacob Halls and Millie Walker both took gold in their 100m breaststroke events with Halls matching his win in the 100m IM. Katrina Dale came first in her 100m butterfly race.

Other silver winners were Ash Starreveld in the 100m freestyle and Layla Bullman in her 50m butterfly race.

Also swimming were Michael Batista, Yas Waite, Abbie Mackie, Lilly Purell and Siggy Henson.
