Three Counties Running Club and Fenland Running Club enjoy parkruns, half marathons and Peterborough Midsummer race




Three Counties Running club members recently took part at the Dereham 10-miler.

Vicki Drake, who had forgotten she even entered the race until the day before, finished in a fantastic time of 1:28:27CPB.

Tracey Else, running the race for the third time, had a point to prove - and before she ran she was happy to settle for a crack at her CPB.

She knocked a massive 21 minutes off her first attempt at the race and nearly one minute off her last outing at Dereham, bagging herself a CPB 1:29:15.

Sarah Johnson also had a great run, finishing in 1:44:19.

Three members took part in the Sublime Peterborough Midsummer 10k race at Ferry Meadows.

There was some great times by all, with Dawn Ball finishing in 51:43, Naomi Smith 58:25 and Stephanie Knight 1:28:13.

Melvin Green took part in the Sutton Beast 10k, storming to a finish in 59.36.

Jacqueline McGonigle conquered a half marathon in Belfast in 2:54:49.

Meanwhile, Fenland Running Club member Martin Jennings hosted the Peterborough Midsummer event at the weekend.

Finishers receive a technical T-shirt, premium finishers medal, free professional photos, live mobile results, runners reviews, prize money and trophies.

The club also had six members take part at the King's Lynn parkrun.

Nigel Marlow finished in 26:23, Sarah Gauvin 27:35, Phillip Clarke 29:31, Jane Greenwood 30:58, Ian Milburn 31:44 and Stephanie Payne 33:56.

At the Sandringham parkrun, Tom and Jacs Richards finished in 21:23 and 26:23 , and Ironman Triathlete Jane Holmes in 28:55.

March: Donna Johnson 27:24, Jonathan Quail 27:25, Laura Vincent 32:58

Hunstanton: Tracey Else 26:53 14th/51, 2nd female and 1st in age.
