Three Counties Running Club members show up well in Shouldham Cross-Country Series
It was a glorious fresh day for Three Counties Running Club Members as they took part in the third event of the six-race Shouldham Cross County series.
The 6.5km course is a tough one and very uneven underfoot with tree roots, mud and hills. There was a great turnout by Three Counties members, each running fantastic races.
Three Counties Running Club times: Craig Freestone 27:28, Amy Baxter 31:20 (PB), Lauren Day 31:26 (PB, second in age), Gary Ingrey 31:39, Vicki Newton 32:13, Les Phillips 33:14, Sarah Melton-Whitelam 33:46, Claire Smithee 33:50 (CPB, third in age), Lorraine Parker 36:16, Diane Tyler 44:49, Shelley Coleman 44:49 and Steve Whitelam 44:50.
Wisbech parkrun saw a fantastic turnout from Three Counties members and Fenland Running Club to help raise money for the Royal National Institute of Blind.
More than £270 was raised for the charity and everyone was dressed up in their festive wear.
