King’s Lynn race attracts a large contingent of runners from Fenland-based club

There was a fantastic turnout of 28 Three Counties Running Club members last weekend at the GEAR 10k event in King's Lynn.

The wonderfully flat, scenic route takes in the pretty town centre, River Ouse pathway and The Walks.

Runners passed famous landmarks such as the Custom House, Red Mount and Greyfriars Tower along the way.

It was a lovely morning, sunny but cool in the shade, ideal for spectators but not so nice for the runners.

With most of the course being on very open routes there was no hiding from the hot rays beaming down.
