Three Counties Running Club members in London for Royal Parks Half Marathon




Three Counties Running Club members travelled to London to take part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

It was a lovely day for runners and spectators with around 16,000 runners taking part on the day.

The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

The three members present were all running for their chosen charity.

James Hall was running for WWF.

Hall has raised more than £500 and had a cracking run, finishing in a time of 1:44:58.

Phil Newton was running for Guide Dogs UK.

Newton has raised over £446 and finished in a great time of 1:48:04.

Diane Tyler was running GOSH -Great Ormond Street Hospital, raising £770.

Tyler finished in a great time and a massive PB of 15 minutes, crossing the line in 2:13:39.
