Three world champions for RKA Kickboxing Academy in March




RKA Kickboxing Academy in March came home with three world champions from the WKO World Championships in Barnsley.

Charlotte Shaw, 16, was a double world champ. She stepped up to take part in ladies low kick kickboxing and claimed silver.

She then had her own age group in low kick and took a great win and became world champion and then followed that by moving back to the ladies section and light continuous and despite her young age dominated her opponent and took an amazing victory and a second world title.

Max Arnold, 16, took a silver in light continuous kickboxing and then took gold and became the new world champion in low kick kickboxing.

Gage Coe took silver in boxing and then gold, becoming new world champion in light continuous kickboxing.

Lauren Carey took silver in ladies low kick kickboxing but was then ruled out with injury.

RKA’s oldest competitor on the day Ryan Harvey won bronze in light continuous kickboxing and after an opponent withdrew, a replacement opponent stepped in and gave him a strong battle and Ryan took silver in his low kick category.
