All ten Wisbech Town HC sides were in action on Saturday, despite the wet and windy conditions.
Wisbech Mens 1st XI travelled to Cambridge HC and slipped to a 3-0 defeat.
However, they did create opportunities of their own, with Jason Mallett denied by the Cambridge goalkeeper.
The men will now take a break over the festive period returning to action with a trip to UEA on January 11.

An early penalty corner strike was enough to see Cambridge South 5th XI edge past the Ladies 3rds.
Wisbech Ladies 4ths and 5ths teams faced each other in Division Five North West.
The 4ths won 2-0 thanks to goals from Louise Cooper and Steph Leeks.
Meredith Killick put in another good performance at the back for the 5ths.
Brandon Ruff found the back of the net for the men's 4ths, who hosted their counterparts from Spalding, who went home with a 2-1 win.
A very young men's 5ths put in a hard-working performance away at Spalding 5ths, but ultimately fell to a 3-0 loss against their more experienced opponents.
On Sunday, the Mixed B team lost 6-1 to a strong Dereham side in the second round of the England Hockey Mixed Tier 1 KO Championship Cup.
Jason Mallett was on target for Wisbech, who went close to adding further goals through Emma Webb and Brodie Ellis.
Wisbech will now move into the Tier 2 competition.
The Mixed A team are still to play their second-round fixture after the weather caused their game at St Neots to be postponed.
