Two players leave Wisbech Town
Two attacking players have left Wisbech Town this week.
Brody Warren and top scorer Toby Allen have made the decision to leave Fountain Fresh Park.
Manager Allan Ross said: “Brody has been disappointed not getting the game time recently and despite assurances he was going to play on Saturday at Loughborough, he felt it was best to seek game time elsewhere. Toby, I don’t think he was enjoying his football and feels his immediate future lies elsewhere.”
On potential replacements, Ross added: “A number of approaches have been made for players and I’m hopeful one new addition can be announced in the next day or so and a further one or two additions will be in the squad on Saturday.
"We’ve a tough nine games left in which to secure the relegation play-off place and we’re going to need courage, bravery and a lot of commitment to get the points we need.
"I will demand a lot of the players and I demand a lot of myself. Time isn’t on our side and those players coming in will have to be ready for the fight ahead, as are the players already here."
