Tydd St Giles Golf Club hosts the Bob Johns Classic

The Bob Johns Classic competition, in support of Cancer Research UK, took part at Tydd St Giles Golf Club.

More than 80 members took part in a Stableford team event and Bob Johns family member John Leak, who also participated, thanked all for taking part and for their generosity after raising £655 for the charity.

The winning team of Derek Kneebone, Graeme Barritte, Martin Wells and Mick McCreery scored 139 points with the team of Ken Walker, John Leak, Richard Martin and Del Marsh second with 136 points.
