Three Counties Running Club members participate in Little Lifts Trail Running Event
Husband-and-wife Phil and Vicki Newton were among the Three Counties Running Club participants in the Little Lifts Trail Running Event.
The 30km (18.6 miles) race saw the pair enjoy fantastic runs.
Phil finished in a time of 2:46:58 while Vicki, enjoying an incredible run, finished as the second female overall in a time of 2:50:24.
Little Lifts were excited to host this amazing event for its third event in its second year, running on some of the most beautiful rural trails in North Norfolk.
Runners took on the Trail Run for Little Lifts, who help support people with breast cancer.
Little Lifts charity provides the most thoughtfully curated Boxes filled with products to help with emotional and practical support, through chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer.
This event helps to raise funds to help Little Lifts on their mission to provide everyone diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK with a Box.
The event was made possible by sponsors from Rogers & Norton and kind support from Norfolk Cordial.
As well as permission from Mr and Mrs Courtauld, of Barningham Estate, and other generous local landowners.
The event consists of routes of 10k, 20k and 30k.
Again, it was another sell-out event with more than 400 registrations.
The course was tough underfoot with hills, trail paths and wooded areas.
Everyone had a fantastic run whilst raising awareness and money for a fantastic cause.
Members took part in all the different distances.
The 20k race (12.4 miles) saw Jayne Spurrier have a fantastic run, finishing in a time of 2:01:53.
The 10k (6.2 miles) saw a great turnout of TCRC members with first home for the club Dan High 57:39 (CPB), Sarah Melton-Whitelam 1:01:52, Debbie Agger 1:02:36, Tracy Adams 1:05:36, Kim Coultard 1:06:08 and Steve Whitelam 1:11:47.
