The regular keeper was sent off midway through the first half for a foul which denied Kye Bunce a scoring opportunity, his replacement was then injured after fouling Glen Wells and conceding a penalty which was then saved by the third keeper, meaning the teams went in at half time goalless.

After the break Dreams took the lead, only for Sutton to equalise through a Will Kirkham penalty, after Bunce was again fouled. Davy Shepherd put the Magpies 2-1 up before the third keeper was then injured after a collision with Bunce.

By now, the visitors were tiring and Shepherd completed a hat-trick, with Bunce also netting twice.

The Dreams keeper was sent off for this challenge on Kye Bunce, who was through on goal.
