Wins for Wisbech Reserves, both Tydd sides and Sutton Bridge

Long Sutton drew 2-2 at home to Stamford Belvedere in the Premier Division of the Peterborough League, with goals from Lewis Machin and Ryan Alexander. The visitors earned their point with a late equaliser.

Leverington Sports' home game with Netherton United was postponed, but in midweek Sports enjoyed a good 2-0 win at Long Sutton, Adam Conyard and Robert Hitchcock scoring.

In Division One, Wisbech Town Reserves made it two wins out of two, beating FC Peterborough 5-2. Goals came from Dan Hempson (3), Joe Reed and Nedas Surkys. Tydd are up to third after being Cardea 2-1, Alan Burch giving them a 12th minute lead and half-time substitute Luke Gooding making it 2-0 in the 53rd minute, before the visitors got one back in the 67th.

In midweek, Wisbech Reserves beat Tydd 2-0, goals coming from Ben Pearce and Joe Reed. Tydd's Timothy Magnus saw red for a second bookable offence.

In Division Two, Long Sutton Reserves game with Peterborough Polonia was abandoned after 70 minutes with the score at 2-2 after an injury to Polonia's goalkeeper. Sutton's goals came from Aron John and Ryan Foster.

Tydd Reserves got off the mark for the season in Division Three, with a much improved performance to beat Park Farm Pumas 3-1, Ricky Holstead scoring twice and Freddie Dye getting the other. Leverington Reserves' match with Deeping United was called off.

Sutton Bridge are top of the Division Four table after just two games after beating Parkside Reserves 5-1, Mark Garner, Ben Partidge, Kurt Scott and Patrick Jones among the goals. Long Sutton A lost 7-2 at Orton Rangers Reserves, Vincent Mackie and Kieron Wykes scoring for the Magpies.

Cambridgeshire County League clubs had the Bank Holiday weekend off, although on Wednesday evening March Town Reserves got their first win of the season, beating Linton Granta 2-1. Benjamin Baker and Stefano Cavozzi got the goals.
