Wins for March and Wisbech while Parson Drove draw




All three senior Fenland teams were undefeated this afternoon, with March Town and Wisbech Town winning, while Parson Drove drew.

In the FA Vase First Round Qualifying, March beat Huntingdon Town 2-1 (read report here), with goals coming from Danny Emmington and substitute Rob Conyard.

Ash Taylor's men (read his thoughts here)will visit Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division outfit Norwich United in the next round, after the Norfolk side won 5-0 at Framlingham Town.

March travel to play Histon in the United Counties League Premier Division South on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.

In the United Counties League Premier Division North, Wisbech are up to seventh after a 2-1 win at bottom side Heather St Johns. Theo Hudson and Kyle Onyon netted for the Fenmen, who entertain Boston Town in the league on Tuesday evening.

Parson Drove drew 1-1 at home to Great Yarmouth Town in the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North. The visitors had a player red carded in the 35th minute and fell behind in the second half before battling back for a point.

Drove lost 1-0 at home to Holbeach United in midweek.
