Wisbech Inline Skating Club perform well at Rollerworld in Colchester for Essex Speed Skating Club event
Wisbech Inline Speed Skating Club raced at Rollerworld in Colchester for the Essex Speed Skating Club indoor event.
They did exceptionally well as a club, taking the majority of the medals.
Arthur Buckler took a silver medal position, with Lucy McInerney coming home in sixth place overall.
Warren Eve finished with a gold medal after battling it out with Taylor Barker, who won his sprint race but came second in the distance races, earning a silver.
Luke Frary took a fourth place, with Tim Fitches and Karl Bates in sixth and seventh respectively.
Kirby Barker took a gold after winning his distance races. He lost his sprint race by less than three tenths of a second.
Leah Barker took a solid bronze after some hard fought racing, while Danni Stafford Allen dominated all her races to take a strong gold herself. Danni is definitely proving to be a future champion.
Essex also organised an inter-club relay which was exciting to watch and enjoyed by all who participated.
