Wisbech welcomes A47 rivals Peterborough for final games of 2023/24 mini rugby season

While Wisbech under-7s travelled to Peterborough RFC, the club's under-9s, under-10s and under-11s/12s combined welcomed Peterborough Rugby Club to Harecroft Road for the last mini-rugby fixture of the 23-24 season.

The under-9s season has been their first contact season and every single player has progressed hugely.

Under-9s coach Alec South commented: “I’m extremely proud of the way the team has developed displaying all the attitudes that make rugby what it is.

"A special thank you to all the parents for supporting the children in all weather conditions ensuring we have a travelling fan base.”

Wisbech under 10s showcased some wonderful rugby talent in a hard and fair game of rugby, where both squads should be proud of how they performed.

Some fine tackling kept Wisbech U11s/U12s in the game and each side scored three tries each.

Wisbech Vets select XV welcome Corby side Stewarts & Lloyds RFC or the final match of the season at Harecroft Road on Saturday (2:30pm).
