Wisbech Town CC's Sunday first team beat Kings Keys by two runs in a Rutland League thriller with three balls remaining.

Wisbech posted 200-5 with Gary Freear scoring 72, Danny Haynes 21 and Dom Stannard 64.

Kings Keys CC were 198 all out in the final over with William Gowler running out last wicket to fall, Kings Keys skipper Shokat Ali.

Kieran Haynes grabbed 4-23, and Freear 3-40 in a superb all-round game.

The match was reduced to 43 overs per side.

Wisbech 2nd XI lost by 5 wickets at Ufford Park.

WTCC 61 all out.

Wisbech Saturday 2nd XI also enjoyed a tight victory, by 1 wicket against Old Leysians.

Last pair Joe Dunning not out 1 and Brodie Ellis not out 8 put on 12 for the final wicket to win with a ball to spare.
