Fenmen lose friendly at Ely City
Wisbech Town FC went down in their pre-season friendly at Ely City 2-0 on Saturday.
Goals at either end of the second half saw the home Thurlow Nunn Premier side, managed by former player Brady Stone, come out on top.
The Fenmen are tonight (Tuesday, July 24) at home to St Ives Town.
They have two more pre-season games remaining, all at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium.
Saturday: Pinchbeck United, kick off 3pm.
Sat, August 4: King’s Lynn Town Reserves, 3pm.

The Hares on Friday are at home to Ely City in what is set to be their final 2018/19 pre-season friendly.
Manager Brett Whaley confirmed that last season’s top scorer Jack Brand has left the GER after being left unhappy by a change of formation.
The Hares’ first game of the Eastern Counties season on Wednesday, August 8, away at KL Town Res has now been changed to Tuesday, August 7, at Robingoodfellows Lane, 7.45pm KO.
March Reserves will play in Cambs League Senior B next term along with Wisbech St Mary Reserves.
Their imminent friendlies are – tonight: Parson Drove, home 7.30; July 31 Warboys Town, home, 7.30.
n Tydd FC will be involved in GroundHop 2018 at home in the Peterborough Premier League with Moulton Harrox on Saturday, KO 1.30pm.
It has a switch of venue with permission of the PDFL which is: Broad Drove East, Tydd St Giles, PE13 5LN.
