Young tennis star impressed at Mini Orange County Cup finals

A local youngster took part in a prestigious tennis tournament.

Maxton was selected to play for Cambridgeshire in the Mini Orange County Cup finals.

There were a variety of hard-fought matches throughout the day, and Cambridgeshire ended up finishing as runners-up to Yorkshire.

East Scotland, Lancashire and Northamptonshire were amongst the others counties taking part.

Maxton trains with LK Teniis Academy, who provide coaching in Wisbech and Chatteris.

He also attends Cambridgeshire County coaching sessions, so it is little surprise he is competing at this level.

These tennis schools offer coaching for players of all ages and abilities.
