Fenland motorcycle racer Harry Cook delighted with recent form at British Superbike test and No Limits Race at Silverstone
Thomas Clarkson Academy student Harry Cook was delighted after a two-day British Superbike test on his Yamaha R3.
The 15-year-old finished day one in second place of the combined times leaderboard,0.2seconds off the leader, and fourth on day two - with only 2 full sessions under his belt due to the weather.
Cook said: "Overall I am very happy with the test. We tried lots of new things with the bike, for example set up and gearing, because Snetterton has been a track I really like but we have found it hard to find the right setting over the last two year.
"But with last year's data we have tried a couple of new things and it's paid off and it gives us a base setting for the season ahead. I also believe signing for a second year has given me more time to learn this bike and it's limits."
Cook set a time which beat his personal best at last year's race.
He also attended a No Limits Race at Silverstone in the Modern 400 championship, picking up three wins before the British Championship starts.
The youngster took time to thank his sponsors and partners.
