Wisbech's Angles Theatre hosting a weekend of tributes
Fans of rockers Bon Jovi and the iconic Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are in for a toe-tapping weekend treat courtesy of Wisbech’s Angles Theatre.
The Alexandra Road theatre plays host to two evenings of tribute acts on Friday and Saturday, February 7 and 8.
First up on Friday, February 7, is the Wrong Jovi Tribute Night.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £17 for adults.
Wrong Jovi features some of the UK’s finest professional musicians – and with a set list crammed full of sing-along anthems including You Give Love A Bad Name, Keep The Faith and Livin On A Prayer, live favourites and rarities, audiences are guaranteed the ultimate Bon Jovi tribute show.
Wrong Jovi have been described as “The best Bon Jovi tribute band in the world!” by radio and TV personality Justin Lee Collins.
The evening ends at 9.30pm.
The next night, Saturday, February 8, Working My Way Back To You brings the Frankie Valli story.
Beginning in 1962, it is an intimate, heartfelt story of the mega singer who was backed by The Four Seasons.
They stormed the USA music charts with three consecutive Number One singles – Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry and Walk Like A Man – and the show brings all of their hits right through to 1978, with Stephen James as the legendary Valli.
It begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £17 for adults.
You can book either or both shows at the box office on 01945 47 44 47 or by going online at www.anglestheatre.co.uk
