March-based charity FACET holding regular craft fairs with one on last Friday of this month

Charity craft fairs are to be held on the last Friday of each month, starting in a couple of weeks.

March-based charity FACET, which supports adults with learning disabilities and autism, has a class of students who are currently working on an exciting new venture named The Pathway Project, in which they are being supported to run a regular monthly craft fair in the town centre.

The project helps students develop business skills while giving local craftspeople the opportunity to sell handmade individual products.

The students ask for a £3 donation and a small raffle prize for any interested stallholders to then sell directly from the Marwick Centre on Marwick Road, March.

A FACET staff member said: “We want to support local enterprises whilst also creating a regular mutually beneficial craft fair which will really create a sense of community and partnership.”
