Wisbech cinema will be alive with the 'Sound of Music'
The Light Cinema in Wisbech puts on monthly Sing-a-long Sundays, featuring all your favourite musicals – with audience participation strongly encouraged.
On Sunday, March 12, the cinema is showing 'The Sound of Music Sing-along' complete with lyric subtitles so that the whole audience can sing along.
The duration of the film is two hours and 48 minutes.
The Sound of Music is a popular 1965 American musical drama film produced and directed by Robert Wise and starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer.
The film is about a young Austrian who is sent to the villa of a retired naval officer and widower to be governess to his seven children.
After bringing love and music into the lives of the family, she marries the officer and, together with the children, finds a way to survive the loss of their homeland to the Nazis.
The film is showing at 2pm on Sunday, March 12 at the Light Cinema on Cromwell Road.
