Alexandra Lodge in Long Sutton held its annual ladies night in Spalding before Easter.

Hosted by Worshipful Master Stephen Wells, the fundraising evening took place at South Holland Centre and was in aid of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Seen as one of the most important events in the lodge’s calendar, the event featured a meal, disco and raffle which raised about £1,100 for the charity.

Mr Wells said: “It was the first time that we’d held the event at South Holland Centre and it was a very successful evening.

“Everything went really well, everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and we had some good feedback about the event, both immediately afterwards and over the days following it.”
