Railway carriage evening meal for St Patrick's Day




Manor Farm Woodland Walks in Parson Drive is serving up a three-course meal inside a railway carriage in celebration of St Patrick's Day on Friday, March 17.

Diners can choose from a range of Irish-themed food, with starters including mushroom rarebit, potato cakes with salmon and cream cheese or leek, potato and bacon soup with soda bread.

For mains the options are steak and Guinness pie with mashed potatoes and vegetable, lamb stew with dumplings and soda bread, corn beef hash cakes with beans and colcan mash, Guinness beef/quorn burger with chips and onion rings, quorn cottage pie and vegetable.

Options for puddings are Baileys chocolate fondant, apple cake and custard, whisky marmalade bread and butter pudding or a trio of chocolate Guinness truffle, mini Baileys eclair and apple cake.

The three-course meal is £25 per person.
