Long Sutton man in very serious condition after suffering heart attack and being airlifted to hospital

A Long Sutton man is in a 'very serious but stable condition' after being airlifted to hospital this afternoon (Monday, September 30).

The Magpas air ambulance enhanced medical team of doctor Mark Tehan and paramedic Dan Read landed in Long Sutton at 1.17pm.

They assessed the patient, a man his fifties, and gave him advanced pain relief at the scene, before airlifting him to Lincoln County Hospital, monitoring his condition throughout the journey.

The helicopter crew who flew the patient and medical team were pilot Chris Sherriff and technical crew member Rob Davies. An EMAS Ambulance Service paramedic crew were also in attendance.
