A man has died this afternoon after medical crews, including the East Anglian Air Ambulance piloted by the Duke of Cambridge, were called after he collapsed in Wisbech.

Emergency crews were called to the area at around 2.45pm today following the incident in King Street.

However, it was later confirmed that the man had died.

An East Anglian Air Ambulance spokesman said Prince William, who landed the air ambulance in Wisbech Park, was joined on the mission by Dr Marcel Rigaud and critical care paramedic Rob Richards.

The duke began working as a pilot for the charity on Monday,
