Christmas Charity Fundraiser will remember Walsoken woman Kirsty Tolley and support three good causes

A Wisbech family who launched a charity in memory of their loved one who died six years ago is holding a Christmas charity fundraiser in her memory.

Kirsty Tolley, who lived in Walsoken, died in King’s Lynn hospital in 2017 and her relatives have held a number of fundraisers and also set up Kirsty’s Little Angels in her memory in 2019.

This year the money raised from the event, which is being held on Saturday, December 9, at Wisbech St Mary’s Sports and Community Centre, is being split between Kirsty’s Little Angels, MIND and schoolboy Hunter Martin who is currently battling lymphoma.

Kirsty’s Little Angels aims to help families with disabilities to give them a helping hand with anything from a trip out to buying a piece of essential equipment.

Kirsty suffered from a personality disorder and was also a self-harmer, which is why the family like to support MIND. She also attended Meadowgate school in Wisbech.

There are still a few tickets priced at £15 left for the fundraiser which will include entertainment by Kinisha as Tina Turner and Tim Lee Roadshow.
