Manea reader's message to cyclists: 'Be seen, keep safe'

We have had several near-misses with cyclists who just cannot be seen as they wear dark clothing and poor, if any, lights!

Cyclists!....'Lighten up’....it’s winter and dark evenings. Why are cyclists out at night, wearing black?

Bright yellows and orange clothing and cycle shoes should be fluorescent... and should be mandatory. BE SEEN – KEEP SAFE.
