Doddington accident: driver in hospital with serious injuries

A driver has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a single vehicle accident on Friday evening.

Emergency services were called to Benwick Road, Doddington, at 6.23pm after a vehicle had left the road and rolled a number of times.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.

The Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing Unit , Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue, East of England Ambulance Service and MAGPAS air ambulance all attended.

The road was closed for a short time while the incident was ongoing and the vehicle was recovered from the scene.
