Drivers in March face delays after part of Station Road has been closed in one direction

A main town road has been closed by police this evening as a result of damage caused by the escalating wind.

Station Road in March is closed from the Broad Street traffic lights heading towards the railway station, making it one-way at the moment.

Diversions are in place for those trying to reach the north side of the town.

The high winds have caused scaffolding on the former March freezer Centre building to collapse into the road.
