Enforcement day sees clamp down on road crime

Cambridgeshire Police's Rural Crime Action Team joined forces with offices from across a host of other agencies for a day of enforcement in Fenland.
Yesterday's (Wednesday) day of action saw the DVSA, DVLA, Environment Agency, HMRC and Fenland District Council carry out traffic stops.
In all 138 stops were made to help ensure road safety and catch offenders.
Offenders were prosecuted and dealt with for various offences including: no insurance, no MOT, no tax, bald tyres, overloaded cargoes and vehicles in a dangerous condition.
