Expect delays through Fenland town after gas leak reported

Part of a busy town centre road has been closed this morning prompting traffic issues.

The Boots chemist side of Broad Street in March is closed with reports of yet another gas leak.

It is the second time within a matter of weeks that a gas leak has been reported in the area.

Gas workers are currently on site but meanwhile the road towards the Town Bridge is closed.

Traffic can still travel through Broad Street on the other side of the road towards Dartford Road.

The closure is likely to cause traffic issues again, so drivers should be warned to avoid the area if possible.
