Fire in open ground in Wimblington was arson says fire service




Arsonists have been blamed for a fire in Wimblington which involved grass, fencing and bales.

The incident in Blue Lane happened at around 7.15pm Saturday (13) and one fire crew from March was called to tackle the fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving grass, fencing and bales. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 8.45pm.
