Gallery: Theatre company's Summer showcase wows Wisbech audiences

LEARN MOREAround 63 performers took to the stage for the Nine Lives Theatre Company's Summer Showcase at the weekend.
The event, which was held on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, attracted over 260 spectators at the Secret Garden in Wisbech.
Michelle Larkin, who runs Nine Lives, explained any of the theatres members was able to choose to perform in the showcase, which was aimed at showing off skills and talents learnt over the past year.
Many of those taking part performed pieces prepared for upcoming exams and there were pieces in ballet, tap, jazz and modern contemporary dance.
There were also musical numbers performed by individuals and duos.
In all the show lasted over three hours providing everyone aged from two to over 60 their moment in the spotlight.
Nine Lives is gearing up for its film making, and there will also be a summer school for anyone interested.
